Alam Maritim MD charged with cheating over charter boat rates

Alam Maritim Resources Bhd managing director and CEO Datuk Azmi Ahmad has been charged at the Sessions Court in Kuala Lumpur with two charges of cheating an individual linked to the daily rates of a charter ship.

The 67-year-old father of six pleaded not guilty after the charges were read out before Judge Suzana Hussin on Thursday (Sept 9).
