AirAsia X cannot give cash refunds under the law, says CEO

AirAsia X Bhd chief executive officer Benyamin Ismail on Wednesday (June 15) said that the budget carrier could only offer travel vouchers to customers instead of cash refunds as it is against the law.

He added that to date, 80 percent of affected passengers have received their travel vouchers.
