Ahmad Maslan: Amend Constitution to make voting compulsory

The government should consider amending the Federal Constitution to make it compulsory for all Malaysians to vote, says Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan.

The Pontian MP said that during his speech on the 12th Malaysian Plan (12MP) in Parliament on Thursday, and suggested that fines and other penalties be imposed on Malaysians who refused to vote.
