AG urged to appeal against lenient sentence for ‘Datin’ who severely injured her maid

Lawyers for Liberty on Friday urged the Attorney-General to appeal against the lenient sentence imposed on a housewife who pleaded guilty to causing grievous hurt to her Indonesian maid. Datin Rozita Mohamad Ali escaped jail time and was instead sentenced to a good behaviour bond for five years.
