Additional RM35mil allocation for PPR community empowerment, says Anwar

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced an additional allocation of RM35mil for a programme to empower communities in public housing projects (PPR) in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

Anwar told reporters on Saturday (April 8) after launching a program at a People’s Housing Project in Shah Alam Saturday (April 8) morning, adding that the allocation is expected to benefit 50,000 PPR residents through the "Kita Untuk Kita” (K2K) programme, involving about 12 housing projects that are identified as problematic.
