Action must be taken against Telegram if its content is harmful to society, says Zahid

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has urged all relevant parties to support Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil’s decision to take action against Telegram.

Ahmad Zahid told reporters that on Monday (May 29) that although the mobile app was not widely used in the country, harmful content on the platform would bring negative implications and damaging effects to society.
