About 0.8% of rubber production used to build rubberised roads in 2019

Deputy Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister II Datuk Seri Dr Wee Jeck Seng said about 0.8% of the country’s current total rubber production was used in the construction of roads using rubber-based technology Cuplump Modified Bitumen (CMB) in 2019.

He said the government would continue using the technology to increase the value of rubber in the country.
