A gruelling 1,300km drive with a checkpoint at every 50km to exit Sudan, says envoy

After returning to Malaysia on Friday (April 28), Malaysian ambassador to Sudan Mohamad Razdan Jamil told reporters that the evacuation exercise for all 30 Malaysians out of Sudan was done with a lot of planning and assessment. He said they got out of Khartoum travelling 1,280km overland with checkpoints at every 50km to 80km.
