Malaysia’s 6% economic growth does not automatically mean the government has significantly more money to spend, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Speaking at the launch of the at the National Innovation and Commercialisation Expo (NICE) 2026 in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday, the Prime Minister stressed there is a misconception that stronger economic growth should directly result in higher government revenue and greater public spending.
