5G, NFCP roll-out to go on as scheduled, says minister

Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah said in a press conference on Thursday that the key projects under the ministry, including the National Fiberisation and Connectivity Plan (NFCP) and 5G roll-out will continue in the third quarter of this year.

He said, however, the budget for the two initiatives may be increased, pending the government's re-assessment of the stimulus package that was announced last month by the previous Pakatan Harapan-led administration.
