42 prison inmates given rare chance to celebrate Hari Raya with family

It was an emotional reunion for 42 families of inmates at the Kajang Prison during the Jalinan Kasih Hari Raya Aidilfitri programme on Thursday where they get to meet and have a meal with their loved ones.

Out of about 3,500 Muslim inmates at the Kajang Prison, only 42 were selected for the programme this year after considering the length of sentence served, discipline and commitment in the prison’s activities.
