41 telco prepaid subscription fraud reported in Oct, says CCID director

Police have received a total of 41 reports regarding telco prepaid subscription fraud in October, involving losses of more than RM26,000.

Bukit Aman commercial crime investigation department (CCID) director Datuk Seri Ramli Mohamed Yoosuf said that at a special media conference on Friday (Nov 3), and advised consumers to verify the offers with the relevant companies to avoid being scammed.
