20 arrested over online scams involving sale of face masks in Selangor

Selangor police Covid-19 special spokesman Asst Comm Muhammad Yazid Muhammad Yew on Monday (April 13) said police have opened 144 investigation papers involving such face mask online scams in the state which resulted in RM1.5mil in losses, with 20 suspects arrested.

He urged the public to go to http://ccid.rmp.gov.my/semakmule to cross check the account details of the seller they are dealing with.
