Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail on Monday said while the Health Ministry is reviewing proposals to reactivate the National Suicide Registry, the Women, Family and Community Development ministry has trained 10,840 peer support counsellors to strengthen the guidance system in the community.

She urged those suffering from mental health to seek help while family members should be more sensitive to their needs.

According to the Health Ministry, there were 356 suicide cases on record in the country from 2014 till June this year.
