1,100 outlets registered under flood aid programme for purchase of electrical appliances

The Energy and Natural Resources Ministry on Friday announced a programme under the government’s Malaysian Family Flood Relief initiative whereby successful applicants and flood victims can receive a rebate of up to RM500 for electrical appliances they purchased. The ministry also said some 1,100 outlets had signed up for the programme.
