Anwar to meet NGO leaders, discuss humanitarian aid for Gaza via Egypt

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will meet with leaders of several non-governmental organisations (NGOs) next Tuesday (Oct 13) to discuss detailed plans for a second land-based humanitarian mission to Gaza via Egypt.

Speaking at the Solidarity Assembly with Gaza: Malaysia Wave, Free Palestine event at Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil on Wednesday (Oct 8), Anwar said the government fully supports all efforts to aid Palestine’s liberation and break the blockade at the Rafah crossing.
