Woman claims trial to bribing Iskandar Puteri City Council officer

A 58-year-old woman was charged at the Johor Baru Sessions Court on Wednesday (May 14) with bribing a local council personnel to avoid getting into trouble for operating without a business licence.

Sia Joo Hoe pleaded not guilty to allegedly handing RM2,000 to an Iskandar Puteri City Council enforcement assistant on August 30, 2022.
