Nearly 160,000 harmful posts removed from social media platforms this year - Fahmi

Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil on Thursday (June 12) announced significant progress in combating harmful online content, with 159,518 pieces of harmful content successfully removed from major social media platforms as of June 11, 2025.

However, he added that child exploitation content remains a growing concern particularly on Facebook.
