Judiciary must remain independent, says PM

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to upholding the rule of law and respecting judicial independence.

Speaking at the launch of the National PKR Congress in Johor Baru on Friday (May 23), Anwar emphasised that he believes in the independence of the judiciary and the integrity of the judicial appointment process, and stressed that he has never interfered in court decisions.
