About 12 more Malaysians still stranded in Iran, says envoy

Malaysian Ambassador to Iran Khairi Omar told reporters after arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport from Iran late Sunday (June 22) night that there were still some 12 Malaysians being stranded in several cities in Iran.
Khairi said the embassy and Foreign Ministry would continue to monitor their whereabouts and would help evacuate them if they opted to leave Iran.
A total of 24 people including 17 Malaysian citizens touched down at the airport on board Malaysia Airlines MH781 at 11pm.
