Who is behind Kledang Saiong clearing works?

Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) has questioned the Perak government’s response over land clearing on the hills at Kledang Saiong which is a forest reserve. It was initially reported on Feb 6 that about 10ha of land had been illegally cleared for oil palm.

A document circulating online however claimed a private company had been awarded concession of Kledang Saiong and another forest reserve, Bukit Kinta in November 2018.
