The US government's purposed ban on TikTok under the guise of "national security concerns" is another smokescreen designed to distract the Americans from the Trump administration's disastrous handling of the Covid-19 pandemic while continuing its strong anti-China rhetoric, according to experts interviewed by China Central Television.

US President Donald Trump has recently announced that he would sign an executive order to terminate TikTok's operations in the US.
