Thousands benefit from cheap sale event to alleviate cost of Chinese New Year shopping

With less than a week to Chinese New Year, thousands of Penangites gathered at the Ang Si Chong Soo Association hall in Butterworth for some last minute shopping of essential foods.

Bagan Barisan Nasional and the Kampung Simpah Village Security Development Committee organised the event to ease the burden of the people.
