The Star honoured its Golden Hearts Award 2018 winners on Thursday and the grand prize winner went to UmieAktif, a nonprofit social enterprise that helps struggling single mothers earn a steady income.

Other winners included Friends of Bukit Gasing, Efinity Social Enterprise, Suka Society, The Tuyang Initiative, Cancerfly Networks, Sia Siew Chin, Dentistry for The Needy, Suri Inspirasi and Masala Wheels.
