Simpang Pulai landslide: Lorry driver trapped, rescue efforts underway

A 31-year-old lorry driver is identified as one of the victims trapped at the landslide area at KM27 Jalan Simpang Pulai-Cameron Highlands.

Perak police chief Comm Datuk Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said checks with the victim’s employer confirmed that the man was transporting vegetables from Cameron Highlands to Ipoh.

Meanwhile, the Fire and Rescue Department said a Vellfire is also trapped.
