The Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman Temple task force has welcomed tycoon Tan Sri Vincent Tan's crowdfunding effort to buy the temple land but warned that it should not be a precedent for other temples.

Meanwhile, the temple task force has also called for an A Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) to get to the truth over the temple riot.
