RTM promises top teams to feature in all its 28 live matches

National broadcaster RTM will be showing 28 live matches of the World Cup 2018 on TV1 and TV2, which includes the final, semi-finals, as well as the opening match between hosts Russia and Saudi Arabia on June 14.

At the press conference on Tuesday, Maxis and AirAsia were announced as main sponsors to cover the RM30mil cost for broadcasting rights.

Multimedia and Communications Minister Gobind Singh Deo said the ministry is in talks with more potential sponsors, which means that RTM may add more matches.
