Review of 15-year moratorium on law graduates to be carried out, says Noraini

Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad told Dewan Rakyat on Thursday (Dec 3) that a review of a 15-year moratorium on law graduates will be carried out to determine if there are adequate lawyers in the country.

On medical graduates, Noraini said the number of medical graduates is still below the Health Ministry's target of having a ratio of one doctor per 400 people (1:400) by 2025 but noted this is offset by graduates who obtained their medical degrees from abroad.
