Proton eyes No.2 spot fueled by ‘remarkable’ X70 sales

Proton Holdings Berhad received over 20,000 bookings for its new X70 sports utility vehicle as of Feb 2019, the carmaker said in a statement on Wednesday.

Proton said the X70 took over as the best-selling SUV in the country, with 2,823 units booked last month including 1,000 units already delivered to customers nationwide before Chinese New Year.
