Prosecution drops all charges against woman in balloon incident

The prosecution has dropped all charges against dance coach Bilqis Hijjas who released balloons at an event in 2015 attended by former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.

High Court judge Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali made the decision on Wednesday (Aug 15) after the prosecution told the court that it would not proceed with its second appeal against her acquittal.
