PM: RM73.5mil for micro financing programme, night market transformation

Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has announced new initiatives for hawkers and petty traders involving an allocation of RM48.5mil for micro financing programme, and another RM25mil for the implementation of Night Market Transformation.

The Prime Minister said that when launching the 2021 Keluarga Malaysia Hawkers and Petty Traders Day and the National Night Market Transformation Programme on Friday (Dec 3), adding that under the micro financing programme, the hawkers and petty traders can apply for Syariah-compliant microcredit financing with a zero percent profit rate from Bank Rakyat.
