PM: Allocation for MOH, NSC, on-off payment for frontliners to combat Covid-19

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced the "Perlindungan Ekonomi dan Rakyat Malaysia" (Permai) assistance package worth RM15bil on Monday (Jan 18).

To combat the Covid-19 outbreak, Muhyiddin said the government would allocate an additional RM800mil for the Health Ministry, RM200mil for the National Security Council and other relevant agencies as well as a one-off payment of RM500 for all medical frontliners, with RM300 to be given in the first quarter of 2021.
