Parliamentary caucus to push for setting up RCI to look into allegations of judicial misconduct

Parliamentary Caucus on Reform and Governance chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said it will bring forward to the Cabinet the issue of the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) following allegations of judicial misconduct.

Speaking to reporters after a meeting on Monday, he said the caucus had met with representatives from civil society groups involving several reforms agenda including the crisis and challenges faced by the judiciary.

A proposal will be submitted for the consideration of the Cabinet.
