Nazri Aziz proposes to withdraw bill on police conduct to be debated in Dewan Rakyat

Padang Rengas MP Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz (Padang Rengas - BN) has suggested that Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin to not table the Police Misconduct Complaints Commission (IPCMC) Bill 2019 for debate in the Dewan Rakyat.

Nazri and several other MPs stressed that on Tuesday, adding that the idea of creating a commission to monitor the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) was the agenda of the Pakatan Harapan government and not the Perikatan Nasional’s.

A short commotion ensued when Sungai Buloh MP Sivarasa Rasiah attempted to interject Nazri’s speech.
