Muhyiddin: Police probe into gay sex video will be independent

Despite Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s claims that the sex scandal video implicating a Cabinet minister is fake, Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that investigation would still carry on by the taskforce.

Muhyiddin said this when asked at the parliament lobby on Tuesday to comment on whether the investigation into the sex video scandal would be independent especially in view of the Prime Minister's remarks, in which the Home Minister said he would guarantee that they will be independent, because it involves the integrity of the government.
