MRT lift assailant gets 18 years in prison, five strokes

A 26-year-old man, who assaulted and robbed a woman inside the lift of an MRT station in Cheras on Valentine’s Day, has been slapped with 18 years in jail.

The Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court also ordered G.Thinathayaalan to get five strokes of the cane.
