Malaysia moves closer to becoming Asean's logistics hub, says Tengku Zafrul

The groundbreaking of the Supply Chain City Malaysia (SCC MY) project marks a major step toward positioning Malaysia as Asean’s leading logistics and trade hub, said Investment, Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Aziz.

Speaking at the ceremony on Thursday (May 29), Tengku Zafrul highlighted that the project will also help nurture local talent in automation and supply chain systems by integrating Singapore’s Learn ecosystem, in collaboration with the Supply Chain and Logistics Academy (SCALA).

He added that SCC MY is the first flagship initiative under the New Industrial Master Plan 2030, reflecting deepening regional cooperation within Asean.
