Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng claimed that he had received complaints from trainees at the Malaysian Police Training Centre (Pulapol) in Kuala Lumpur that the Pulapol buildings have been in dire conditions for two years.
Lim said that at a press conference together with Kampar MP Thomas Su at the Parliament lobby on Monday, and alleged that at least three cases of mass food poisoning have occurred there this year, resulting in hospitalisation for dozens of the trainees.
The lawmakers urged the Cabinet to look into the issue as Pulapol and said those in charge of the centre should be held responsible.
