Isa slapped with 10 CBT, corruption charges

Former Felda chairman Tan Sri Mohd Isa Abdul Samad has claimed trial to a charge of criminal breach of trust and nine counts of receiving graft involving more than RM3mil.

He pleaded not guilty after the charges were read out to him at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court on Friday.

The former Umno vice-president allegedly approved the purchase of Merdeka Palace & Suites Hotel without the approval from the Felda board of directors on April 29, 2014.
