IGP says Jho Low's whereabouts known, aims to bring him in by year-end

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador said police know the location of fugitive financier Low Taek Jho, also known as Jho Low, and hope to bring him back by the end of the year to help in investigations into a multi-billion dollar scandal at state fund 1MDB.

Abdul Hamid said that at a forum on Sinar Harian on Wednesday, adding that he believes Low “has the protection of someone” who provided him a safe haven in a certain country.
