IGP on Covid-19 positive inmate: How he got infected we don’t know

In response to a question about the Sungai Buloh inmate who tested positive for Covid-19, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador said the authorities have yet to discover how he had been infected.

He added that he has discussed the matter with the prison department's director-general Datuk Seri Zulkifli Omar and requested for all detainees to undergo Covid-19 checks.
