A 26-year-old woman took a jobless and homeless man from Sibu, Sarawak into her home out of kindness, only to end up being chased by a loan shark for money he borrowed.

MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Seri Michael Chong said this was not the first case of "friends" staying over at home and stealing personal details to use in borrowing money from Ah Longs.
