A factory technician was sentenced to nine years jail and ordered to be given three strokes of the rotan at the Sessions Court in Ayer Keroh on Friday (July 1).

Judge Mohd Sabri Ismail meted out the sentence to the 40-year-old man, who's married and a father of two, after he pleaded guilty to a charge of having non-consensual unnatural sex with a 13-year-old schoolgirl.
