Fahmi: Timing of sex claim is peculiar

PKR communications director Fahmi Fadzil said the timing of a statutory declaration containing startling sexual harassment allegations involving a top PKR politician and a 26-year-old was peculiar.

The statutory declaration made by the alleged victim, Muhammed Yusoff Rawther, claimed PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had attempted to coerce him into oral and anal sex in the leader’s office.

Fahmi added that since Yusoff’s family member came forward to dispute his claim, it was a clear indication that a political ploy was involved.
