Dr Wee: Govt should abolish RPGT on property disposed of after five years

MCA president and Ayer Hitam MP Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong on Monday urged the Government to abolish the 5% real property gains tax (RGPT) which are imposed on properties after five years.

Dr Wee raised the issue in the Parliament’s Special Chambers, seeking clarification over the tax.
