Dr M: Rule of law must be paramount

In an exclusive interview with The Star, Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said the people must be able to stand up to the Rulers if their action goes against the Constitution.

He said he tried to correct the wrong by setting up a special court for the Rulers, resulting to the 1993 amendments to the Constitution, but unfortunately, the special court was only used once.
