Dr M: Malaysia not ready for nuclear energy

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has stressed that Malaysia will not build nuclear power plants until there is a safe way to dispose off the radioactive waste generated.

He said this when speaking to reporters after holding a dialogue with the French business community in Malaysia on Monday (Feb 10) in Cyberjaya.
