Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has sent out a congratulatory message to newly-appointed Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, his former deputy and long-term adversary.

Dr Mahathir wrote on Friday (Nov 25): "I congratulate Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on his appointment as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia. Best wishes."
