Doctor escapes death after car plunges into river

A doctor escaped unhurt when the Perodua Myvi car she was driving skidded and plunged into Sungai Redong at the Felda Redong bridge, near Segamat, Johor on Monday.

Johor Fire and Rescue Department director Datuk Yahya Madis said Dr Nur Syarifah Hidayu Hassan was driving alone when the incident occurred around 12.22pm.
