Do not rush to open the borders, Nurul Izzah urges govt

The government has been advised not to rush to loosen travel restrictions and the opening of the country's borders, fearing that it would invite a new wave of Covid-19 infections.

Permatang Pauh MP Nurul Izzah Anwar told the Dewan Rakyat that on Monday (July 26), adding that the country cannot rely solely on vaccination in combating the Covid-19 pandemic.
